It is stuck in a deep valley and is known as a result as the 'village where the wind blows'. It is inhabited by the Yao, who can walk for hours to pick tea leaves in remote parts of the national forests. Despite being very famous among the tea enthusiasts, this is one of the wildest areas in Xishuangbanna, only connected through a tiny road to civilisation. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tea producers harvest tea in a wide area around their village.
